The 'Egg' series (2004-2016)

My grandmother once had a chicken coop, and when eggs spilled out, they got caught in the barbed wire, hanging like musical notes on a staff. The fragility of the perfect white egg against the harsh rusty wire was a compelling image symbolically. I've since explored this idea with several other scenarios, and I plan to curate them into an exhibition eventually.

Rock Textures (2006 - 2025)

Portraits (2018 - 2025)

It's pretty rare that I do portraits, mostly people I love. But when I do I take great care to think about how I'm portraying them - here's some examples with notes.

Iceland Earthfire (2024)

In March 2024, the Sundhnúkagígar crater volcano near Iceland’s capital erupted, so my son and I went to see. With close access barred by authorities, these telephoto shots through protective glass were all we got.
